...Rules...

  • This is a roleplay room. We come here to relax and have fun with roleplaying. If you are coming in with the intent of disrupting what is taking place in the room, you will be asked to leave. Creative roleplay is welcome - fights, bickering and harrassment is not.
  • Observers. If you wish to observe, please feel free to do so. We ask that you choose a name, and then add ~obs~ behind it, so we can recognize you and treat you like an observer. You may ask questions about the roleplay and the room, but please stay in PM so you are not interrupting the room.
  • Respect. Show respect to the other players of the room. Do not interrupt a roleplay with OOC chatter, and do not intrude on someone else's roleplay without asking first.
  • Character Sheets. You are not expected to create a character sheet here. You can submit a bio on the board if you so wish.
  • Room Tags are handed out by the Room Leaders - do not put on room tags until you have spoken with Caius or Hippolyta!
  • Historical roleplay. The roleplay taking place in the room should be realistic and keep with the theme and time period of the room - which is Ancient Europe, from 3000 BC to 500 AD. If you are uncertain of what is appropriate and not, please search out our boards where information is posted concerning the time period and the cultures played here.
  • Historical roleplay and adjustments. The room is based on ancient history, but has a wide time span. We try to stay close to history, but we do make some adjustments for the sake of roleplay.
  • Major Storylines. Major storylines, such as destroying parts of the village, burning down structures and so on, can only take place after speaking and clearing it with the room leader.
  • No Kill - Forced Collaring - Magic - Animal roleplay. We do not allow killing of actual characters (though, NPCs can be killed), we do not force collar, we do not allow magic, and we do not allow the roleplay of animals within this room.
  • Crossrealm characters. We do not allow characters from other sections, rooms or timelines - unless agreed upon beforehand. Similarily, if you decide to play in here, do not go roaming into other rooms and realms with the same character.
  • Combat. Combat taking place within the room will follow the LW Combat Rules. Judges are posted on the board.
  • Slavery. Slavery was very much a part of the life in the ancient world, and it was not all moonbeams and pennywhistles. The room is not singularly centered around slavery, so therefore, do not think that every player is interested in having a slave. There is no force collaring here, so if you want to play a slave, you better make sure to clarify this with another player who is willing to claim you.
  • Any disputes, arguments, problems, or suggestions - take them to the room leaders - Caius and Hippolyta.
  • The leaders' words are final and law. Any rule may be changed, altered or revised at the leaders' discretion.
